Coach Scott is looking for- ward to a fine team this spring, expecting them to be contenders for the South Shore League title. Es- pecially fine performances were aired by Frank Aicar- di, Richard Jones, and John Cowden. The entire squad deserves commendation for its efforts. 4 -J fl in I I .. The fight for the South Shore League title went down to the wire as the girls battled neck and neck before finally being nosed out at the finish. Despite this, the girls had a terrific year in fin- ishing near the top of the league. They received stunning performances from the entire team. In- cluded in their feats were a new school record in the mile set by Jessica Bah- ros, while the 4 x l 10 re- lay team of Teri Travis, Patty Martin, Francis Pizzella and Toni Rae- bel placed first in the F5 state division. l
