Coach Anderson's main objective has been to enable the as girls to learn and at the same time have a lot of fun. As the season came to a close, he felt the girls had met and conquered a 5 new challenge, a sport which most 32 had neither played nor watched j 4 before, as they ended with an im- Z pressive 6 and 5 record. i N ,A .f,?1:'4N-GQ? -.li K .N ' ZQ'5L1?'1 23 ' A' 5 f 'YW-IN. . 5 NW 'if ..--fx- gsgt . -.ai sxe. Co-Captains Nate and Bill Simms maintained a sense of pride and unity for the team although the record was only 6 and 6. One of Norwell's most exciting games was against Dux- bury. Holding Duxbury to a 1-1 tie at the half, Norwell finally succumbed 3-1. However, Norwell remains among the top teams of the South Shore league. r tn ' . Regard- less, Coach David Walsh feels that his team was both improving and progressing as the season went on, especially the defense. This year's squad consisted mainly of under- classmen, though senior co-cap- tains Gary Bridson and Bill Col- lins were consistent standouts. Coach Walsh is looking forward to next year, as most of his team will bring with them another year of varsity experience. 4.1 , - 25- .-.S FOOTB LL gm H Fi PI FIRST: D. Pinkham, T. Leavitt, C.
