MR. C. WADE JENKINS French and German MR. RICHARD E. IVIANDEL French FOREIGN LANGUAGES MRS. MARION S. JOYCE Latin The language department is initiating the audio- lingual approach to foreign tongues. As a result of this system, the student learns to speak and understand the language before he attempts to read and write it. In the language laboratory, the students receive constant drilling in the sounds and forms of the language through the help of tape recordings. The ultimate goal of the department is to build a library consisting of numerous tape recordings which would permit students to use the laboratory whenever they felt the need of extra drill.

The math department of Norwell High School has conformed to adequately meet these demands. Math is undergoing tremendous changes in regard to teaching methods.
