Your Shipbuilder Staff has done its best to gather pictures, copy, and drawings which will remind you of your four-year cruise. The sea hasn't al ways been smooth, but we hope all good sailors will hold dear memories of the day we won the game, that Senior Prom, and the unforgettable class trips. We thank all the personnel of N.H.S. for their kind assistance. Students have donated treasured photographs, teachers have generously let the staff cut classes on deadline days, and our ad- visor, Mrs. Martin, has been a most hard -working admiral. Now here's your Shipbuilder . . . Happy Sailing! tht aff?-A I I O 76' Mrs. ENID TA YLOR We happily dedicate the 1958 Shipbuilder to Mrs. Enid Taylor--be- cause she has guided us along the path of knowledge, whip in hand, and taught us to work every step of the wayg because she has showed us how to open doors of appreciation that would otherwise have re- mained closedp because she has inspired us to make the most of our resourcesg and, most of all, because we love her. 3 Um ' 4' Wx it N r , 'Of ,J K . - 1 1 i - Wh. ' f4.5m4!L77' ' To the Class of 1958: Perhaps now as never before is our American way of life challenged by insidious influences active within our own land and by threats of an external nature from abroad. I urge you to resist with all of your capabilities and zeal the unhealthy and the undesirable that exists within our own ranks and to establish yourselves as bulwarks of strength against alien trespass. Leadership, intelligent and aggressive, is essential to the lives of free men and women existing in a family of free nations. It is important that you develop the qualities of leader- ship and place yourselves in the fore in a fight for free- dom with all who would conspire against us. Frederick A.
