Our opening games were with larger schools and we were not expecting too much, but even at that the three Hgoose eggsw were discouraging. The Bobcats continued to fight it out. however, and scored in all succeeding games. Although we were not often in the win column, we saw some fine football, running, passing, and groundwork. The Reserve scoreboard may not look as we would like to see it, but we must remember that these boys have had very little experience. It takes years of practice and participation to develop real football technique. And that is what school athletic programs are for - to teach technique, develop skill, and cultivate teamwork. For the first time, Norwayne had a Junior High team this year under the coaching of Mr. Moser and Mr. Ritchie. They won three games and lost four.
