jacfj Wof jkfion .ar Rowen Schar, as does any other student at Norwayne, walks two-thirds of a mile each day as he walks the corridors from class to class. This totals 117 miles for the year. 23,41-4 An astonishing amount of money is hand- led as a part of school activities. These include class dues and money-making pro- jects. plays. concerts. dances. programs, purchase of class materials, and athletic events. Pictured is Carole Beery check- ing her Norview account with Mrs. Bib- ler. From September lst to February 20th a total of 511230.06 was handled. Mrs. Hahn gives this hungry Freshman a smile as she hands him one of the 52, 310 plates she serves in a year to Nor- wayne students. Jim Sykes has tired feet and no wonder. A mem- ber of the marching band,-counting summer parades, State Fair, practices, and football field shows-marches a grand total of 187 miles in a year. All absences must be accounted for, and a blue admit slip made out to each student upon his return to classes. Many absences are un- avoidable, but surely we could cut down on some of them. Last year there were 3832.5 days of absence.
