This group sometimes is re- ferred to as 'athe big happy family because of the fine way they work together. Under the expert direction of Mr. Woodring, they have novel football shows, annual spring and winter concerts, and compete in music con- tests. The band also has many work pro- jects to earn money for instruments, music, trips, and other experiences. We are proud of this hard working organization.

Of the 47,800 students in the United States who took this test, Gordon is one of 10,000 finalists. Gordon also tied for sixth place in the county in the Senior Scholarship tests this year with a score of 212. In this same test David was in the top 25 per cent. Gordon has been accepted to continue his education at the Case Institute of Technology and David plans to enroll at Baldwin-Wallace College. Jan Hower, Julia Fouche, and Carol Irvin all received key awards in the Northeast Ohio Art Contest sponsored by O'Neils of Akron. Their art work is on display at that store.
