451- mafia fion Ri' Dear Miss Mcllvaine, In choosing a dedication for our Xorview. we decided it had to be you. You are completing thirty'-one years of teach- ing. and that alone is worthy of recognition. It must lw with a great deal of satisfaction that you look upon the hundreds of students in whose growth you have had a part. This is the sixth volume of our yearbook that you have superyised. and we of the Staff now appreciate what endless hours of work and countless details go into such a publication. You have spent your entire life on the home farm and fit in well with our theme of useedtime and harvest. You say that in this theme you represent the weather: the storm clouds, the rumhles of thunder. and the flashes of light- ning. But you also symbolize the refreshing rain and the warm sunshine. Those little words of humor and wisdom that you are in the habit of writing on the black- board each day are a source of enjoyment and inspiration to all who enter your classroom.
