About twenty members met twice a month. They bought the parts and assembled a telescope, studied photography and the developing of pictures, viewed filmsand demon- strations, and every two weeks published a school paper. The officers are: president - Clark Dyckg vice-president - Jim Rastoferg secretary - Ioan Starkeyg treasurer - Janet Fetzerg sponsor - Mr. Ted Fleming. Its aim is to develop agricultural leader- ship, cooperation, and citizenship. Our local group has had a very busy and a very successful year. The ambition of every girl is to some day be a home- maker. The organization of Future Homemakers of America seeks to prepare girls for this future role in society. Its activ- ities include the planning and preparation of meals, sewing, home decoration, and child C3.l'6. Mrs. Barbara Bixler has been the very capable teacher sponsor of this group.
