And All Around the rfclaool WE loudly applauded Jeff Dieterich when he won first place in the Voice of Democracy contest. . .and were grateful to proiector-operators Phil May, Stanley Cha- pin, and Harry Griffin. We were surprised when Dom Caprara and Jim Spals- bury became part-time librarians. . .and were pleased with George Diehl, Mary Shutts, Fred Sheppard, and Russell Fisher, who were winners in the magazine sales- manship contest. Miss Mossman's Latin class still struggled with do, dare, dedi, datus, as it has over many years. . .but Joel Samaha could not express the ioy of all concerned when model Jim Luxon gave us a glimpse of the new band uniforms for which we had waited so longl if .MJ

HE that will conquer must fight has been the motto of the senior class, although officiallyitwas not selected until a few weeks before graduation. The choice was awise one, however, because the various memb.ers of the class have fought for, and won, the many important positions in music, drama, sports, and scholarship which they held.
