LOOKING down into the heart of the city of Norwalk, the eye of the keen observer will follow the line of the main street through the business district to the buildings of Norwalk High School. There, under the direction of the five members of the board of education and the supervision of the superinten- dent and the principal, a program of liberal education is carried on. Twenty-eight faculty members, each qualified in his own field, conduct the day-by-day classes that provide that background of knowledge so necessary to make good citizens for the community.
