In student council there are two elections per year, each at the end of each semester. Each member elected to the council serves for two semesters, thus half of the membership is carried over from semes- ter to semester. All activities such as student dances, homecoming and color day festivities, campaigns and elections are supervised by the student council. At Christmas time the council supervised and sponsored the outdoor Nativity scene and the High School Christmas Party. The council also collected contributions for the Annual Care Package. A delegation from the student council was sent to Ames for the State Convention and another delegation will be sent to the District Convention in April. In April of this year the student council helped put on a talent show sponsored by KIOA by supervising and managing the sale of tickets. STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS President . .........
