This was a pictorial display of the progress our country has made in science and in industry during the last few decades. lt was also a look into the future and a preview of the changes we may expect to see. Our class also visited the Des Moines Public Library where we had the opportunity to see how the thousands of books, covering subject material of every sort, are all catalogued and put in their proper places so that anyone desiring information of any sort may find it quickly and easily. We learned how useful the card index file in the library is when we want to secure information. Members of our class were on the Boys' and Girls' Junior High Basketball Teams. We played several games and participated in the County Junior High Tournament.
