0 I TO THE CLASS OF '60: You have passed through the uncertain- ties and confusions of becoming the first students here at Norwalk, and now you are going on, leaving behind your school days and activities. When you look at this book in the future, it will recall many experiences. Here are the friends you have made. Here also are the days of weariness and discouragement when you, the Class of '60, was faced with the trying task of paving the way for others to follow. Today you stand more mature and steady as you face the future. You can look with pride on these first four years of develop- ment and achievement during which you made Norwalk High become in reality, a four year senior high school. For this reason and many more, we, the annual staff, ded- icate this year's EL LANCERO to you, the first graduating class of Nonfvalk, the Sen- iors of 1960.
