The '59-'60 session featured a polio clinic, used book sale, school spirit pom-poms and dances, Wcirlrl Service soeials, Thanksgiving and Christmas charity offerings, Easter baskets for the under- privilaged, Honors Code, a blood drive, among others. Cultural enjoyment was stimulated by chorus and band concerts. Newspaper, literary magazine, and annual distribution gave students hours of pleasure as did the dramatic presenta- tions. Indeed, the tiny pins seen on 'many lapels and sweaters of Norviewites symbolize service--good citizens preparing for the future.
