Hr. C. B. Harralson Principal of Kortonville Hi h School 'r. C. H. Harralson, the son of l!r. Giles and ’irs. Lillie • arral- son. was roared in the country about three miles north of .,ebo, in the settlement known as Bald Knob. Hr. Harralson attenaed a one room school about one and half miles from his none. 3«lnj an industrious vounr man he would rise early in the morning and mil several cow,, eft breakfast in a hurry, and run the mile and hal to school so he could nlav baseball before the teacher arrlveo and startle, classes. •e attended this little country school through the seventh grade. Then he came to liebo and took the eighth made. During his summer vacations he helped his father on the farm. '?e went his four nlgn school years at a boardinr school in Berea, Ky. ’.3 received n-s hl.h school diploma and started to Western Teacher's College, In Bowling Green, in 1923- »e received his A. 5. cemee from Jestern in 1929- Dur'n this time he taught school at .hite City in the year of 1, 26, «1 e also taught school at Kebo from 1927-1935. In the summer of IC-jg-31 he attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, Coloraoo. 193d he came to Kortonville. I.ir. Harralson served two years as county attendence officier in 1937-39- He was assistant county super- intendent i« 1939-lfO. Then he returned to Nebo and taught for nine -ears and returning here a-ain in 191 9 and has been here every since. During his summer vacations he worked in automobile factories. V e have been verv fortunate in havin - !ir. Harralson as Principal for the past three years, - i s quiet and pleasing personality will long be remembered by the students.
