Appreciation MRS. JANICE BACKLUND, MR. GEORGE DeVALK MRS. EILEEN KIESER, MR. JOHN KIESER, MRS. EDNA PHILLIPS Does anyone have his dues? Is anyone going to the Prom Committee meeting today? Would ANYONE like to help decorate for the dance? Get organized!!! How often have we heard these pleas during the past four years. During this time, our advisors have not only been extremely patient with us, but also willing to give us advice and go to any length to ensure that our stay at Norton High School was both successful and enjoyable. Their advice and encouragement made possible the Junior Senior Prom, Tender Years, the spaghetti supper, the senior picnic, the class trip, and many other fun events. For all their hard work and dedication, we proudly acknowledge the advisors of the Class of 1986.

Dedication Mr. Lawrence Larocque may not be the most visible of teachers in the classrooms of Norton High School, but he is certainly visible to everyone who attends sports events at Nor- ton High School. Through the years he has earned affection and respect from Norton athletes and fans as well as from tf students in his classes. The devotion to and enthusiasm for job as physical education instructor, varsity football coach, anc junior varsity basketball coach are something we all admire, his various positions, Mr. Larocque teaches students more tr how to play the game; he teaches students how to play wit class, maturity and honesty. Most of all, he emphasizes the main reason for athletics — to have fun. For these reasons, many more, we, the class of 1986, wish to dedicate Sojourn to Mr. Lawrence Larocque as the person who has done so ven much for Norton High School in our years of attendance. J 14
