1979 SOJOURN DEDICATION Mrs. Diane Martin The Class of 1979 would also like to give much deserved appreciation to Mrs. Martin, another class advisor. She has been a behind-the-scene person, doing tedious but very important tasks for us. With- out her help in organizing committees and activities, the class would not be as successful as it has been. She is a fine person, and she has a special personality which has made her well-liked by the class. Sometimes a class needs not only someone to advise them, but also someone to listen to them, and she has been that person. Thus, to show our appreciation to two advi- sors — Mrs. Walter Precourt and Mrs. Diane Martin — we dedicate our yearbook and thank you both for your time, your effort, and most of all, your friend- ship. Mr. Walter Precourt Mr. Precourt has been an advisor to the class of 1979 for the past four years. During these years, he has sac- rificed many hours of his personal time to help the class with their many, many projects. He initiated a $10,000 scholarship fund and has worked hard in help- ing the class reach that goal. He has been not only an advisor to the class, but also a friend, always asking us to smile even when things seemed unbearable. His one desire, has always been to have our class strive for excellence. The Class of 1979 will long remember Mr. Precourt and all of the events and fund-raisers that he helped to make successful. Most of all, we would like to thank him for staying with us through the bad times as well as the good. We appreciate that more than words can express. 2
