Teacher Education Students participating in the Teacher Education Program are: A. Boudreau, ( . Bachand, I). Haskell, R. Adams, L. Adam- K. Blanchard, S. Thiheault, D. Serras. Under the direction of Mr. Ferrara, the Teacher Education Program was initiated this year. Not only do the Students learn the teaching process and become acquainted with smaller children, but they also help the teacher by making bulletin boards, giving extra help, and planning the curriculum for a few hours. The program has proven to be a great success and both Elementary and High School Students have benefited greatly. Danny Haskell is helping the Elementary Students with their reading. Alice Boudreau is helping a student learn the basic spelling words for the week. 27

Seniors Introduced To Psychology Miss Newbert is helping Pat Fournier with an answer of which she is not quite sure. Psychology was added this year to the NHS cur- riculum for the Seniors. Miss Nancy Newbert, the School Psychologist, advises the class and shows the Students step by step the many areas of Psychol- ogy and the work being done in this field. The Seniors involved with Psychology are learning much about human nature and finding out how much they really know about themselves. 26
