SUPERINTENDENT ' S MESSAGE In the book of Proverbs (4:7) there appears this comment: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom. This observation is as true today as it was in the age of the early Israelites. We all recognize the importance of wisdom and the necessity for acquiring as much of it as possible if we are to lead successful and happy lives. Your teachers have done everything possible to pro- vide you with the tools and skills necessary for acquir- ing knowledge. It is up to you to take with you from your school years the habits of study and learning which are necessary to further acquire wisdom. Do not let graduation mark the end. but really the beginning, of vour education. Education is a continuing process. Do not stop this important task in the middle: see it all the way through. Superintendent of Schools PRINCIPAL ' S MESSAGE Everyone is talking about outer space and how to reach the moon, and I am sure that that is a good ob- jective for us as a nation to have. But for you young peo- ple just leaving high school, the greatest need for you is that you may be aware of the space that you are occupying right now, here on earth, and what you can do to improve it.
