r FOREWORD The journey of a rocket consists of several phases which are vital to its progress into space. Beginning with the launching, the rocket, equipped with its nec- essary boosters, is propelled into space. With each successive stage, the rocket loses a booster but gains the power to function more independently. Finally, with the detachment of the last booster the rocket is left unaided to pursue its course. We, the Seniors of Norton High School, compare our sojourn toward graduation and our individual fu- tures, to the journey of a rocket into space. As the booster of a rocket supplies the necessary impetus to project it into space, the active influences of our school life provide us with the knowledge and experience to project ourselves into the future.
