FOREWORD As we approached graduation, we paused to reflect upon the events of our high school days. An hour-glass could perhaps illustrate the tinne which seemed to pass so slowly at first, but when graduation finally ap- proached, we realized that the time had actually passed quickly. We remembered the beginning of our first day as Seniors, as if it were yesterday. We quickly adjusted to our new status and the hard work in- volved. We thought that our previous three years were carefree and easy compared to our last year of work. As the year passed, we fulfilled our duties as club officers and active club members with great pleasure and pride. Some of us discovered the glory of winning sports trophies or mere- ly acting as a member of a hard-playing team. We completed our high school years by attending the formal Prom; and, finally, we did reach the end— graduation. Graduation was not really the end, but a climax in our lives, as it will be for all future graduating classes. The sands of time will continue to run —slowly at first— too quickly at graduation tim e— and then, there will always be the next class to ponder the mysteries of time.

DEDICATION Character is like a free, and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it} the tree is the real thing. We, the members of the Class of 1963, dedicate the Sojourn to Mrs. Lucille Zwicker. Your willingness to help and to guide us and your co-operation in all our affairs has shown us the value of a faithful advisor. You have advised us during all four years, and you have shown us the way to a life of our own choosing. With your guidance in the making of our characters, we move on to the future.
