An integral part of the Norton school scene, the Torch, provides us with a common meeting ground for all activities, both scholastic and extra-curricular. Once a month, students eagerly await the latest news of meetings, dances, parties, and sports contests. Here also can be found examples of some of the best creative writing that Nortorrs authors turn out. XVorking on the Torch staff gives future newsmen practice in writing accurately and well, doing art work, and experiencing business management. lt is a line organiza- tion and is heartily backed by the student body.
