This year, the Council has sponsored a sale of bonds with aa culminating Dogpatch party, a scrap drive, education in flag etiquette, a Know Your Neighbor campaign, a Students' Day, and an honor roll for Servicemen alumni. A record of a year in a democratic American high school--that is what the Bluejay staff intends this yearbook to be. They claim for it one merit: That it is a work of the students, by the students, and for the students of Norton Community High School. Those who worked on the Bluejay and their positions follow: editor, Velda Elsong business manager, Betty Bullockg athletics, Dale Quick, George Chase, Eugenia Kennedy, class pages, Irving Johnson, senior, Barbara Young, junior, Paul Epler, sophomore: John Browne, fresh ang Genevieve Bowers, faculty: Miss Luella Geyer, assistant. Typists were Ruby Rountree and Lorene Wiley. Organization pages and those who planned them were dramatics, Mary Lue Shaw and Irving Johnson, music, Donna Lee Sheley and Betty Bullock, Girl Reserves and Hi-Y, Franc- Marie Collier and Paul Eplerg Home Ec and FFA, Ruby Rountree and Lorene Wiley. , The art editor was Gordon Rowhg photographer, Hr.
