Currie, an attorney from Midland and longtime supporter ot North- wood, gave the commencement address. Trustees, receives an honorary degree, conferred by President Arthur E. Turner, left, with Vice-President John A. Church and Executive Vice-President Ft. Gary Stauffer, right. An honorary degree also, went to Dr. William Paton, professor emeritus ot the University of Michigan, with Dr. V. Orval Watts, left, and Executive Vice-President Stauffer looking on. Dr. Theodore D. Vosburgh, retiring director of music and head of the Liberal Arts division, received an honorary degree, with Vice- President Church and Administrative Assistant Tom Brown aiding President Turner.
