IWII ' f If i 1 How do you say Goodbye after twenty-three years of a sincere Good morning, how are you? That is the problem Northwood had to solve during the 1981-1982 school year. Dr. E. Warde Kelly chose 1982 as his year to retire from active participation in education. The chair may be empty; the desk may be cleared; but the philosophies, the guidance, the helping hand, and the leadership which he developed will remain in the halls of Northwood for years. Twenty-three years may not be a lifetime, but accomplishments last forever. Perhaps rather than Goodbye, more appropriate is Thanks, Doctor Kelly. Academics Some classes made relief maps. The book fair provided some new titles for people to buy. 5004504 Small group work is used when possible. Eighth Graders get involved in reading literature. Social Studies tests make students think hard. Intermurals was also part of the total program.
