ond, Purcell Direct Performing Arts Program From a purely materialistic point of view, the performing arts have little or no value. But few doubt that the theater has added many new dimen- sions to our lives. Northwood’s performing arts pro- gram includes a school chorus—the NI Experience and the production of plays. Parts in plays were available to all Northwood students and to people in the county. Throughout the winter term drama workshops were offered. Phil Purcell was the director.
