Yearbook Compiles Northwood Records Requiring a great amount of time and effort, the organi- zation of the 1969 Arrowhead began before the start of the actual school year. The staff selected members and trained them during the summer to acquaint them with the work ahead. Preparation began with the selection of a cover and a theme, and from there the Arrowhead developed into the finished yearbook. While the Layout Staff designed picture placements, the Literary Staff formulated copy for the entire book. Soliciting ads was the job of the Business Staff, while the photographers busied themselves with taking pictures, and the Sports Staff followed all the athletic activities of the school. Aside from the usual work, staffers took time out for two yearbook conventions in New York sponsored by Columbia University. Arrowhead workers learned much from the lec- tures concerning yearbook design and management. This in- formation, plus the evaluations of past yearbooks, enabled the staff to make improvements and to design a better yearbook. Working to meet their January deadline, photographers John Stetson and Brian Rodbell prepare to develop pictures for use in the yearbook. 5 5 1 , x, it ' , ,,, 5 's.,...- X Larry Neff Linda Oursler Ruth Gorelick Editor-in-Chief Literary Editor Business Co-Editor Peg Cole Doren Indritz Connie Goldstein .
