During seventh period Henry Fasteau concentrates on typing copy as Harriet Lightman and Mickey Rindler collaborate on writing an article. Journalists Report Northwood Activities Continually watching for pertinent news stories, the Red and Black staff reported all major school events at Northwood. Nleeting seventh period to work, the journalists strove to give an unbiased account of school matters. Supplemented by interesting photographs, the Red and Black presented both the academic and social aspects of student life at Northwood. Writers emphasized the activities of each club and organization, as well as projects of Student Government. Complementing the format, editorials and student letters on controversial topics permitted the individual to voice an opinion in school and community affairs.Also thorough in its coverage, the sports section reported allactivitiesof athletic teams at Northwood. Issuing the paper approximately every three weeks, the Red and Black staff worked vigorously to meet their deadlines.
