Songsters Perform For Student Body Under the direction of Mr. Paul Wenhold, the Concert Choir of Northwood upheld its tradition of excellence this year. The singers performed at many programs, including their fine Christmas and Spring concerts for the student body. Also during the Christmas season the choir sang at Lansburghs department store for the interested shoppers. Keeping in mind the younger area students, the Concert Choir traveled to Sligo Junior High to perform for the students there and later invited area elementary school children to Northwood to entertain them at the Area Eight Music Festival. Chosen from the Choir, nineteen Madrigal singers per- formed before the student and community. The nineteen were: Laurie Achhammer, Jeannie Bailey, Jim Bolin, Mark Briehl, Marsha Coates, Michele Dubois, Andy Gabrilovitch, Joe Gorman, Lennie Gross, Barbara Ludwig, Dan McComas, Nancy McKean, Bob Messick, Linda Oursler, ,Sue Schmidt, Becky Steiner, John Stuntz, Bay Swan, and Nan Swiger, Highlighting the year for the Madrigals was a week long concert tour of the South in early March.
