During an FBLA meeting Rona Fox promptly copies down commodity prices as dictated by member Flick Ruckstuhl for club explanation. Pupils Look Ahead At Future Vocation Providing practical experience in the field of education, the Future Teachers of America became better acquainted with the teaching profession. During their classroom visitation, members served as teacher aides and acted as professors. The club held an orientation tea in which students welcomed newly arrived faculty members to Northwood High School. Members of the Future Homemakers of America strove to improve skills in family and home living. Relating personal experiences to various areas and phases of home economics, members discussed topics varying from grooming to decorating. The group took a field trip to the Pepco Electric Company to observe new ideas in home appliances. Through food sales the club raised money to send to the Maryland School for the Blind. Preparing themselves for careers in the business world, the Future Business Leaders of America concerned themselves with job preparations. Some members attended an FBLA convention in which they competed in business skills. FTA president Adele Eskin delivers a speech concerning future projects and goals of the club to members of the organization and faculty. flhhuw
