Mr. Sobelman, one of the chaperones on the Senior Class Trip, takes a spill on the ice skating rink as Mrs. M. C. Wilson attempts to help him. Seniors C 174 Seniors rry Out Successful Activities Enthusiasm greeted the many successful activities spon- sored by the Class of 1969. Mister Roberts , the class play, delighted the audience and demonstrated the dramatic ability of the cast and crew. A free senior breakfast, held in the cafeteria, provided a nourishing start for the school day. The ski trip to Mount Airy Lodge in the Pokono Mountains of Pennsylvania enabled seniors to display their athletic prowess and offered a wonderful opportunity for developing friendships and enjoying the scenery. Special programs this year included two coffee houses and a senior-sponsored Talent Show. These additional activities gave Northwood students an outlet for their creative talents in the field of entertainment. Annual activities such as the Winter Wonderland dance, the Senior Banquet, held at Peter Pan Inn, and the Senior Prom, featuring the sound of the fantastic Drifters at Montgomery Mall, filled the final year at Northwood with many happy moments. Culminating the school year, the Class of 1969 was grad- uated on June 12 at the University of Maryland's Cole Field House in College Park, Maryland. SENIOR CLASS COUNCIL-Front Row: L.
