tx Q A Q 'X iff' ,ffm WN ... Pauline Barker reviews plans for the Junior Prom as Lynne Baker, Sharon Gnatt, and Class President Bob Tebeleff consider students' suggestions. Juniors Maintain Cutstanding Traditions Under the direction of lVlr. Steven Baumann, the Junior Class began their second eventful year at Northwood. lVlany bake sales which took place during the year provided funds for the class treasury. Juniors added to the spirit of Homecoming by selling red bagels the entire week of school before the game. The very successful Gym Night on lVlarch 14, featured a slave auction and a dunk-the-teacher stand that was very popular with students. Plans and preparation for the Junior Class Play, Cheaper By The Dozen , began early in January. Sponsored by lVlrs. - Carolyn Vllillis, the successful play was presented IVlarch 20-22, and the long hours and hard work put into the production paid off in dramatic experience and new friendships. Another widely accepted project of the Junior Class was a money-vote contest to find the best-looking legs on the varsity Basketball team. As early as October, plans for the Junior Prom were made.
