M? .P 'Q After a powerful offensive victory over Kennedy in the first game, the little lndians finished the season with a 1-7 record. The JV, like the varsity, faced a tough schedule. Unfortunately, Northwood's offense never got going again after the first game, but the defense did improve throughout the season, Only twice did the opponent's scoreboard light up with more than twenty points. fa-A..-1 Junior Jim Foster and Sophomore Dave Bugden played well on the line. Junior halfback Marvin Bynum was the major offensive threat. Many of the little Indians showed promise under the coaching of Joe Verbinski and should be great assets to the varsity football team in the next two seasons. J.V.
