Serving Northwood and the community, the Wheel Club adopted an American Indian orphan. The Club also raised and lowered the flag each day and an- nounced Northwood activities via the sign on the schoolas front lawn. Innovations in the activities of the Girls, Service Club included collection door-to-door for the March of Dimes and caroling on Christmas Eve. At a slumber party in the fall, the Club inducted new members.
