VVorking closely with the A.F.S. helped our two exchange stu- dents, Qiyvind Sandbukt from Norway and Isabel Al- varez from Spain, get acquainted with our community and school customs, as well as with the American people. Sponsored by Mrs. Geoghegan and Mrs. Eiss, the club promoted such activities as a bake sale and a Peace Corps Assembly. An American Field Service Assembly in February presented an opportunity for our students to learn more about Sandy and Isa as well as to hear the views of foreign students now attending Blair. A student from Springbrook who had par- ticipated in the Americans Abroad program introduced the program and told of her experiences.
