STUDENT CONGRESS- Government of the students, by the students, and for the students. The Student Congress co- ordinates all student organizations, encourages enthusiasm and participation in school activities, acts as a forum for the constructive discussion of topics concerning school lifeg and promotes co-operation and congenial relationships between the student body, the faculty and administration, and the residents of the community. Their major accomplishments this year include the spon- sorship of both School Spirit Week and World Culture Week. Another successful project was the supplying of adequate food and clothing for a needy family during Christmas holidays. Working hand in hand with the Student Congress, the Co- ordinating Council is headed by the Student Congress Vice- President. The council consists of all the club presidents. They co-ordinate all club and extra curricular activities, aid in the arrangement of the social calendar, issue, renew, and revoke all club charters, and evaluate the activities of school clubs and organizations. They sponsored the most successful club drive ever held, besides setting up numerous committees to aid in the planning of an activity ticket, various assemblies, and a future carnival.
