Koutsos J- Wolf Jfucdmi Can Northwood has a Student Congress of which it is iustly proud. Through the support of the student body, for wh it was illustrated that all could work together for the mutual bene- fit of Northwood. This new spirit of unity was most strikingly illustrated by the success of the Magazine Drive. It would be impossible for the Student Congress to function efficiently without its standing committees. These committees worked constructively throughout the school year. The social committee planned Student Congress dances and assisted other clubs with their social functions. The Decoration Committee decorated for all the dances, and the Science Fair too. The ln- School Publicity Committee should receive credit for a large share of the success of all Student Congress activities by making students aware of current and coming events. The Welfare Com- ich it is a voice, f. f J mittee had charge of the booster button sale and instigated the many other charitable projects ot the Student Congress. The Building and Grounds Committee obtained the suggestion box and made plans for obtaining a school sign. They also backed the Cafeteria Clean-Up Drive. The Out-of-School Publicity Committee made the community aware of all Northwood activities through the newspaper articles, radio announcements, and store display. Without the work of our Student Congress, never have been able to rise to the place it now Northwood would holds in the eyes of the students and community. So how about a cheer for our Student Congress for a iob well done! Citizenship Committee L. to R. Seated-E. Leibowitz, B. Diepenbrock, E. Carnvale, Standing- S. Bean, D.
