vrm Syllabus 77 Syllabus 1977 follows a time theme, ordering events of the school year chronologically. The yearbook is divided into Fall, Winter and Spring quarters with a calendar introducing each section. Beginning with the color section, which traces a day from sunrise to sunset, activities are located according to time of occurrence, be it the morning, evening, week or weekend. Fall Quarter opens with New Student Week, moving into living units and meet- ing new friends. Following Shoot Yourself , activities of The Week unfold, including classes, schools, speakers, concerts and theatre. The Fall Weekend is next, including entertainment activities, a journey into Chicago, and fall athletics. Having completed a seven day cycle the section concludes at vacation time and the yearbook moves on to the Winter Quar- ter Calendar. Winter and Spring Quarters are like the Fall Quar- ter section, though our yearbook deadline schedule necessitates a much smaller Spring section and em- phasis on spring 1976 events. We hope to have captured important parts of the Northwestern University 1976-77 school year. 17
