The Engineering Societies council sponsored a fall open house for prospective tech students. The Business council and Education council published their quarterly newsletters about the activities of their respective schools. THE PINNACLE of academic achievement for liberal ai ' ts students was symbolized by initia- tion into Phi Beta Kappa. Those selected for mem- bership as juniors in the Spring of 1960 held 3.71 averages in their liberal arts courses.
