HAHNE Summer Session Past President of the Association of Summer Session Directors, Mr. Hahne is one of the veiy active members of the club composed of the Doctors of Piscatorial Sciences and lives for the short vacation between Commencement and the opening of the Summer Session when the organization has its important meeting in the north woods. He has the characteristic of walking along campus with head bent, absorbed in deep thought. Assistant Dean James R. Hawkinson has been in charge of the Evanston Commerce Schcoi whiie Assistant Dean ira Cauider Davies has headed the night schooi. Mr. Fagg is founder and editor of the Journal of Air Law, and managing editor of the Journai of Radio Law. He beiongs to the Bar Associations of Chicago and Los Angeies, and thc state Bar of Caiiiornia. KENNETH E. OLSON J ournalism Rutgers' ioss, Northwestern's gain. Just this year Dean Oison was imported from Rutgers to act as head oi Mediii Sehooi of Journaiisin. He has inaugurated a 'Lfive year piann, school assembiies, and has even given the students a few finai exams. Dean Oison reads detective stories for reiaxation, can't sit at atabie where spinach or sauer krautis served, is an outdoor man, swimming, boating and fishing being among his favorite sports, iikes to go to the north woods tthe pro- fessor's havenj to get away from crowds. RALPH B. D ENNXS Speech According to Lew Sarrett, there is Uno artist in America who brings to the piatform rarer dramatic skiii, a more unusuai personai endowment, or greater abiiity to speakfin honest, forthright, and deepiy moving fashion than Dean Dennis. Mr. Dennis has been 21 settiement worker in Chicago, a bank cashier in a western state, a sociai worker in New York, and a resident in Vermont viiiage where he studied and read. His wide experience in Russia during the war furnished him with materiai for his authentic Russian iectures. Driving, buckwheat cakes and cooking are his hobbies.
