Snyder As the strains of the overture die away, a dim light discloses three beautiful maidens, played by Peterson, Cir-otte and Wilson, spraying the magic' love potion on our hero, Sigmunde. It is this magic deeoetion, Eau de Perspy by name, which they have succeeded in wresting from the Hall of the Mountain King or Patten Gym. Sigmunde upon awakening, dons his sweat pants and sings the beautiful aria, Zie Gehimlick die Eiileiispeigeln or God, do we have tumbling again? He then sets out for Yogi Palaeel' in order to seize the Hying Ring and thus free his amorata, Brunhilde, who is held prisoner by a neeromantie ogre, De Cook. On the way he encounters the 4 Fs, Follett, Fee, Fulmer and Fisher who were sent out by De Cook to detain him. Clad in leotards, the 4 Fs make a thrilling spectacle as they sing the famous quart.ett.e from Rigor Mortis. A slight skirmish follows in which Follett is expunged by a beer bottle which is lying around, Fisher is permanently maimed by a flying medicine ball, :L dentist named The Mauler has his bieuspids anaestxhetized, Fulmer is strangled in his own volley ball net and Fee flees in terror to his wife and children. Un- daunted, Sigmunde continues and is befriended by a Puekish oaf named Ryan, who tells him how to get in there with a left hook. Using this hook he pieks the lock of the Hall or Muscle Shoals as it has been humorously dubbed. He is immediately 1-onfronted by 'l'inetnre of Arnica De Cook who has just pulverized another vietimls shin-bone with his demonic high-bar. Another rumpus ensues but the audience breathes a sigh of relief as they see, Qin the beginning of third aetl the Send De Cook, bound securely by his own truss. But tragedy prevails and the opera closes, as we see Sigmunde come upon the blue body of Brnnhilde as it floats on the surfaee of the pool. She is a. vietiim of a melee in target-ball. Heart- broken he dies of triple hernia and Christiansen sings the last aria, lCinen veertigoen sehlaften- slop or Don't hang on to the edge of the pool.
