I J, G H, D . . . combinations to letters, stops by the P.O. . . . cokes, coffee, donuts, baked potatoes, breaks between classes in the student union . . . These were part of our daily routines. It was here that numbers met numbers, and strangers met friends. At times there was a harmonious exchange of thoughts which was happily alike ... To communicate was the beginning of understanding . . .

Class attendance was a must for freshmen and sophomores; but ahh, what bliss there was in being a junior or senior. Lectures and labs . . . studying and daydreaming . . . the endless walking. In the maze of classes there were challenging instructors, who could at times become understanding friends ... To communicate was the beginning of understanding . . . We were involved in the happening, but remained as individuals . . . And in the end, we were tested, not to punish us, -— but to help us meet tomorrow.
