Northwestern new Si ' , 000, 000 Teacher Education Center was completed (hiring the year and gave NSC a fourth dimension in education. In addition to lectures, observation-participation programs, and student-teaching, the center has introduced a program of experimental learning laboratories for research and development of innovations in teaching and learning. The units encompass nursery-age children through the secondary level, serving not only for research and development, but also as an integral part of the preparation of prospective teachers. As we observed the collection around us, we merged into it. Regardless of our role in making NSC the potpourri of 1970, we alone were the elements of this time, this space of our youth. 16-Introduction
