The JUDICIARY BOARD of the Associated Women Students is composed of two A.W.S. officers: the vice-president, who serves as chairman of the Board, and the corresponding secretary. Three other members appointed by the President of the Associated Women Students and the Dean of Women are appointed to represent the Senior, Junior, and Sophomore classes. The Board serves as a hearing group for any woman student who violates an important rule or regulation. It is the duty of the Judiciary Board to see that all regulations pertaining to women students are functioning effectively, to investigate all instances of non-observance of regulations that come to its attention, to determine whether the instance constitutes a case of behavior failure, and to assist the individual concerned in making satisfactory adjustment. Dalme, Vice President. a8 The TOWN ASSOCIATED WOMEN STUDENTS is made up of all women students who live off-campus. The TAWS officers also serve on the A.W.S. Council. The main purpose of TAWS is to keep members informed concerning activities on campus by working closely with A.W.S.

MILTON RHEA AMS President Organized student opinion brings our goals to reality. With this conviction, THE ASSOCIATED MEN STUDENTS has attempted to define the desires of NSC ' s male students. Besides presenting a banner to the AMS honor dorm, we have endeavored to secure better relations with the city of Natchitoches, examine our eating facilities, and to promote Civil Defense awareness and campus beautification. We have for the first time released a bulletin of our organization to every student on campus. In short, AMS seeks not to be an end in itself but a means of unifying our men and their convictions to yield a better Northwestern. The Northwestern State College PANHELLENIC COUNCIL strives to promote scholarship, high character, a better understanding of the Greek world, and harmony among the Greek organizations. A member of the National Panhellenic Conference, the Northwestern Panhellenic Council serves as the governing body of the four N.S.C. sororities on campus. Locally, the N.S.C. Panhellenic Council sponsors many campus projects, including a convocation for Freshman girls and an all-Greek Christmas Carol Sing. The council also encourages scholarship among all women by presenting a Freshman Scholarship Award each year. Mrs. Lucile Hendrick, Dean of Women, is advisor. MRS. LUCILE HENDRICK Sponsor
