STUDENT 60 The Student Body Associat on, organized in 1927, was formed for the purpose of regulating all mat- ters pertaining to student life that do not interfere with the policies of the Adrr inistration, promoting general student activities, and developing a true col- lege spirit. AVCOCK COURTNEY HENRY MATTHEWS PERRIN PREST The Student Council, executive of the Association, consisted of fourteen members until the spring of 1944, when by a revision of the constitution, the membership was reduced to ten and the office of Secretary-Treasurer of the Student Body was di- vided into two separate offices.
