The Student Body Association was organized in 1927 with the election of a president, vice-president, secretary-treasurer, and certain members of the student body to make up the Student Council. The purpose of this organization is to regulate all matters pertaining to the student hfe of its members which do not fall under the jurisdiction of the faculty. The Student Council acts as an executive body for the Student Body Associa- tion and supervises the activities of the student organizations, bringing them into closer cooperation with one another, also with the faculty and administration of the college. This council consists of the three student body officers, the presi- dents of the senior, junior, and sophomore classes; the editors of the Potpourri and Current Sauce; the presidents of the three religious organizations, and the three representatives at large from the senior, junior, and sophomore classes.
