J TO ohn Edward Guardia Bachelor of Science WE AFFECTIONATELY DEDICATE THIS VOLUME OF THE POTPOURRI Mr. Guardia was graduated from the Louisiana State Normal in 1903. In 1908 he joined the faculty of the Practice School of the Normal and in 1919 became a member of the regular faculty, with charge of the work in geography. Recently he was graduated from the Uni- versity of Chicago with departmental honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Guardia is a loyal Louisianian and a faithful, enthusiastic teacher, loved and re- spected by faculty and students alike.
