PIERCE, Professor of History, began his career of history teaching the same year that Mr. Cameron came to N.S.C.- 1926. Prof. Pierce, known for his added philosophy in history class, takes a particular interest in each of his students. ?X,7'7 ,Q Wy' WILLIAM F. DEUSINGER, Associate Professor of Music, is known to many as an outstanding school band director as well as for his individual musical abilities-especially with the violin. Mr. Deusinger's preparation includes study at the New England Conserva- tory of Music, Bostong and advanced violin study with Eugene Gruenberg and Felix Winternitz. He was also an artist student of Andre Morin, Paris, France, and Franz Kneisel, New York City. He has held the present position since 1936. J MISS RUTH MARIE GENUIT, seat- ed at her desk, presents a typical pic- ture of the greeting you would receive should you drop in her room-that is, when she isn't at the piano giving a vocal lesson or on the stage with the choir. Miss Genuit has worked with and produced many popular school quartets, trios and sextets since coming to N.S.C. in 1942. She also directs the choir and twice a year tours the various high schools in western Oklahoma, pre- senting outstanding choir selections. She is Assistant Professor of Music and holds a B.M. degree from Kansas City Conservatory of Musicg an A.B. from Kansas City Universityg and an M.M. from Northwestern Universityg and has studied at the University of Southern California and Columbia University. MR. LARRY LAMBE, Instructor in Piano, also teaches organ. Besides instructing, he often presents an organ recital for various organizations Or assists in school activity programs. WISTAR D. NEWBY, Assistant Professor of Health Education, has an A.B. degree from Friends University and an A.M. degree from the University of Michigan. Mr. Newby has been here at N.S.C. since 1943. MISS INEZ PATTERSON, In- structor in Health Education for Women, has both aB.S. andaM.S. degree from Oklahoma A8nM Col- lege and graduate work at the Uni- versity of Wisconsin and National Recreation school. This is her sec- ond year at Northwestern. PERSONNEL in the office of the Registrar and Financial Secre- tary, who help Mr. Jackson perform all the duties include, Mrs. Betty Beasley, Mrs. Elsie Tate, Miss Aurice Huguley and Mrs. Phyllis Brunsteter.
