She received her A.B. degree from the University of California, Berkeleyg her M.S. from the University of Chicago and her Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. MISS BESS M. CHAPPELL, Professor of Art, has been a faculty member since 1945. Judging from the books and papers on her desk, one might presume that Miss Chappell has just completed preparation for a lecture class. Miss Chappell has a B.S. degree from N.E.
